In the response from 10 Downing Street regarding a petition against ‘banning or restricting the use of older cars’ an interesting point was observed.

Regarding the Low Emission Zone and it’s future plans to include “lighter vehicles such as large vans” Number 10 have also stated that “For the vehicles that are included, there is an exemption for ‘historic vehicles’ built before 1st January 1973.”
